Cobi Fiat Abarth 595 Competizione!
It’s a relatively small kit (71 pieces). It was easy to build. The instructions were relatively simple to follow. The completed kit looks pretty decent. There are several specialty parts that are specific only to this model, so there’s no real re-play value. But I bought this kit strictly for the subject matter, so I’m okay with that.
Amazing set
It is by far the best fighter jet set they have released so far. It's larger, sturdier, and more accurate than any of the previous sets. Cobi could have easily made the leading edge of the wings with sloped trapezoid-shaped bricks like with recent sets, but they went above and beyond and used cleaver beams hinged at 45 degrees. The extra dark paint job is my only gripe about this model, but other than that, I will take this over any other jet they have.

Add customer reviews and testimonials to showcase your stoI'm loving this Cobi blocks brand and have purchased a handful to date; the parts fit very well together, the design is really good and once completed it really does looks like the F14 Tomcat from all angles, especially from the front view - my all-time favourite fighter jet! This is a good relaxing build, with easy to follow instructions. The scale seems to be accurate at 1/48 and the stand with nameplate finishes it off well. The minifigures depict Maverick and Goose well and they fit well into the cockpit (unlike the Cobi Spitfire model). You really can't go wrong for the price-point though. A very nice addition for my growing blocks model aircraft collection!

In the words of Jeremy Clarkson, "OH, my God, this thing is enormous!" Shown alongside Bismarck for comparison. And yes, they are both the same scale.
Impressive Model!
For the size, price and detail, this model is certainly worth the price! At 25+ inches long, it gives a solid feel to the size of this historical ship. She is good at these builds so I elected ( quite easily) to allow her to build it. 😉 Including her organizing the pieces in muffin trays, she finished in just under 4 hours. 1:30 - 5:15pm Same pieces are extremely small, so be prepared to possibly drop, or pop small pieces across the room. lol See the anchor chain links in the pictures. Looks awesome though !
