The Tiger II, also known as the Königstiger (King’s Tiger), is a building-block model of one of the most powerful tanks of World War II. B "Königstiger" entered service in 1944 and was renowned for its thick armor—up to 180mm on the front—and its powerful 88mm KwK 43 L/71 gun, making it a formidable presence on the battlefield. Despite its impressive design, it faced technical and logistical challenges, with a total production of only 492 units. The Tiger II saw action in key battles, including the Battle of the Bulge and conflicts on the Eastern Front. Today, it remains one of the most iconic tanks of World War II.
